Chinese indie developer Game Science has revealed the release window of the upcoming souls-like game, Black Myth: WuKong.
Black Myth: WuKong is a highly anticipated action RPG based on the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West by Wu Cheng’en. Its release window was revealed in a short film celebrating the Chinese New Year and the Year of the rabbit.

The 2 minutes and 37 seconds long clip shows a rabbit who excitedly tries to install the game onto his old pc. It gets upset when the game fails to install and upgrades his pc. It successfully installs the game, but once again gets upset when it is met with a timer.
Years later the rabbit is now old and walks in on two young rabbits playing the game. The camera then zooms into a calendar that reads “2024”, a clever way to reveal the release window and acknowledge the fans who are eagerly waiting for the game.
