Embracer confirms 5 ‘The Lord Of The Rings’ games in next 2 Years

Embracer group, the Swedish company that owns the rights to The Lord of the Rings video games has promised the release of five new games within the next 2 years.

The company released its third quarter report for its 2022 financial year which revealed that there are five LOTR games in production.

While they didn’t name any of these games, it is likely that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Return to Moria, and Heroes of Middle-earth are included.

We also know that Peter Jackson’s company Weta is developing what could be the fourth LOTR game, with Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games.

The fifth game is completely shrouded in mystery. What we do know, however, is that all five of these games are new and are being developed by third-party developers.
