Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is nearing its end and people have begun speculating what to expect from Season 2. Rumors have also begun spreading around Twitter and other social media platforms as information about season 2 has been leaked online.
Epic has been silent about season 2 so there is still a possibility that all these leaks are false and we might get an entirely different update, but the leaks have come from well-known sources like @HYPEX and @ShiinaBR.
When will Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 come out?
@FortniteStatus on Twitter has made it official that season 1 of Chapter 4 will be ending on March 8, 2023. Going by that information and taking into account the downtime for maintenance before the beginning of a new season, it is likely that season 2 will begin on March 9, 2023.
Setting
Fortnite chapter 4 season 2 will reportedly have a Futuristic/Neo-Tokyo theme according to @HYPEX’s sources. FireMonkey, another leaker, has claimed that the new map will have 6 new POI locations. They are codenamed Dojo, Loot Island, Hot Springs, Cyber Dragon, Neon City, and Zen Garden.
While we can’t say for sure how many of these are true, codenames like Neon City and Cyber Dragon definitely fit the rumored Neo Tokyo theme.
Attack On Titan collab
@ShiinaBR tweeted about Attack On Titan collaborating with Fortnite. The collab will reportedly bring quite a few things to the game that include an Eren Yeager skin, a Scout Regiment salute emote, a crossed swords banner icon, an angry Eren animated emoji, an ‘ice fist’ of Titan pickaxe, weapon warp, and a waist grappler that will work similarly to the Spiderman Hands.
First-person mode
Fortnite is rumored to get a first-person mode with season 2. @ShiinaBR posted a tweet saying that the information was revealed to them by the same source who revealed the other leaks.

Augments
FireMonkey has said that there will be 15 augments that are going to be added to Fortnite. Similarly, HYPEX has also said that chapter 4 season 2 will add augments. Specifically, ones that will increase players’ max shields, give players siphon or allow players to reboot when they die.
New and returning weapons
New weapons are apparently being added to the game. A new katana, a new shotgun, new swords, and a new pistol are said to be added to the game.
Some say that the pump shotgun might be returning, which could be the rumored new shotgun.
New skins
HYPEX and Shiina have leaked what they claim to be the entire line-up of season 2 battle pass skins.
Some of the noteworthy skins are the Eren Yeager skin, a new version of Drift, and a blinged-out lizard man.
Other leaks
There are rumors floating around about the skins of Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 4 coming to the item shop.
Star Wars has also been rumored to make a comeback, bringing back the Lightsaber, and possibly two or more Star Wars-themed skins, that will be added to the game.
