Don’t forget to claim your AFK rewards
In Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, you’ll be rewarded even when you’re not actively playing. These AFK (away-from-keyboard) rewards accumulate over time and are consistently available for you to collect. To claim them, navigate to the “Kong of Prosperity” found in the main menu. These rewards play a crucial role in leveling up and enhancing the strength of your characters, so always ensure you claim them.
Use special abilities wisely
In Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, your fighters can execute two types of attacks: basic attacks and special abilities. Basic attacks are straightforward – these are the standard attacks you’ll use most frequently, and they’re executed automatically, so there’s no need for manual input.
Conversely, special abilities pack a greater punch compared to basic attacks and require manual activation. When you see a bulb icon above one of your characters, it indicates that their special ability is primed and ready to be unleashed.
While using these abilities as soon as they’re available isn’t necessarily a flawed strategy, it’s worth noting that they have a recharge period. Make sure to get three stars in each battle
In Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, each battle you complete can earn you up to three stars, depending on your performance. One star indicates a basic completion, while three stars signify an exemplary performance.
The rewards you receive vary based on the number of stars earned. Although you can proceed to the next battle after earning just one star, it’s advisable to replay the battle until you secure all three stars to obtain the best rewards. If you encounter challenges with any specific battle, remember to revisit them later and strive for a complete three-star rating.
Have good team formation
One of the most effective strategies for securing consistent victories in Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is to maintain a well-structured team formation. Randomly positioning your fighters may hinder your team from realizing its full potential.
Ideally, your lineup should consist of one healer, one tank, and two damage dealers. Always position the healer at the back, while the damage dealers and the tank should be at the front, allowing them to best fulfill their roles.
Furthermore, familiarizing yourself with each character’s strengths and weaknesses will provide insights into their optimal placement within the team.
