Genshin Impact’s latest update, which will be released on the 11th of May, will be introducing two new five-star characters.
The previous update Genshin Impact Version 2.6 had introduced one of the most anticipated characters, Kamisato Ayato, to the playable roster. However, players were kept waiting for the two other characters they wanted in their party.
Genshin Impact has revealed that Arataki Itto and Xiao will receive banner re-runs in the upcoming Version 2.7.
Xiao will be a part of the first banner cycle alongside the new Hydro bow user Yelan. The second part of the update will bring the Geo claymore user Arataki Itto, and will be the only character featured on the banner for this update.

Fans of the game were thrilled as even though Xiao is one of the older limited five-star characters, he is still considered one of the strongest damage-dealing characters in the game.
Arataki Itto is considered to be the first true five-star Geo damage-dealing character and his arrival has started the trend of including four-star Geos to every party.
The Genshin Impact Livestream is set to air on the 29th of April in which the new weapons and other updates coming in Version 2.7 will be revealed.
