The new RPG from developer Spiders and publisher Nacon called GreedFall 2: The Dying World will be set in an era three years before the first game and is set to be released in 2024.
GreedFall 2 is a prequel, taking place three years before the events of the original game. This time, players will take control of a resident of the Teer Fradee, a fantasy world colonised in GreedFall.
The resident has been forcibly transported to Gacane, the colonists’ home continent, which has been decimated by war, plague, and political machinations.
The player must acquire independence for the resident by building alliances, and trying to stop the capture of their house through diplomacy, guile, or battle.

In addition to this, players will be able to explore the old continent with its bigger and more diverse environments and meet new companions and new factions.
GreedFall 2 will primarily focus on the story and player choices, but will also bring a new gameplay style in the form of tactical combat.
