Here is everything we know about it so far.

Release and availability

The game is set to release on February 24, 2024. It will be available on current-gen systems including Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Plot and characters

The game’s plot revolves around the iconic Suicide Squad, consisting of Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark.

Tasked by Amanda Waller, they are sent on a covert mission to Metropolis to combat a major threat. The city has been invaded by Superman’s classic nemesis, Brainiac, who has brainwashed many of its inhabitants, including several members of the Justice League.

The Suicide Squad’s mission is to assassinate these mind-controlled superheroes to stop Brainiac’s invasion.

Gameplay mechanics

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League promises a unique gameplay experience with each character offering distinct abilities.

Deadshot is a versatile fighter specializing in assault and sniper rifles, Harley Quinn uses acrobatic skills and gadgets for traversal, King Shark brings brute force and leap attacks, and Captain Boomerang utilizes a Speed Force gauntlet for rapid movement.

Users can play the game solo, switching between characters at will, or team up with friends in a cooperative multiplayer mode.

Connectivity and post-launch content

The game requires an internet connection even in solo mode and includes a battle pass that focuses on cosmetic items.

Rocksteady has plans for post-launch content, which includes new playable characters, missions, and weapons.

Game engine

The game has been developed using Unreal Engine 4 instead of the latest Unreal Engine 5.

Despite that, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is expected to deliver a visually stunning and dynamic gaming experience, considering it is a successor to the visually stunning Arkham Knight.

However, detailed system requirements for PC players are yet to be announced.
