Three new ‘League of Legends’ games in the works

In 2019 Riot games created a new publishing label, Riot Forge, aimed at producing games set in the League of Legends universe. Now, Riot Forge Games has posted a video on YouTube showcasing three such games that are set to release before 2024.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is an action RPG that is being developed by Digital Sun Games, the studio behind 2018’s renowned Moonlighter.

Set in the kingdom of Demacia, you will play as Sylas, the champion from League of Legends who has escaped from prison and is hellbent on destroying the kingdom’s overlords. Going by the short few seconds shown off in the video, the game will feature pixelated graphics and combat akin to Hyperlight Drifter.

Speed Brawl developers, Double Stallion have been working on another League of Legends game since 2019 called Convergence: A League of Legends Story.

In this 2D action platformer, You play as Ekko, the LoL champion, and fan favorite from the animated show Arcane, where you will traverse Zaun with parkour mechanics, combat enemies and use time manipulation abilities.

Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story is the third game planned for 2023. The makers of the hit Rime are working on this single-player adventure game where you will play as Nunu, discovering the secrets, myths, and legends of the world as you solve puzzles with your rideable best friend, Willpump, a wise and playful yeti.

While Riot Forge Games have not been specific about the release dates, they have said that Mageseeker will be released in the spring of this year and Song of Nunu is set to release sometime in the fall.
