Top 5 Xyz monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh!

Xyz Monsters were introduced to Yu-Gi-Oh! when the Zexal period arrived. They were the third type of Extra Deck card to be added to the game, and quickly became the greatest Extra Deck mechanism available.

Let’s take a look at the 5 best monsters that were introduced and still continue to cause havoc in the game:

5. Toadally Awesome

After the loss of Frog FTK, Toadally Awesome was one of the key reasons that Frog decks returned to the professional arena. It simply takes two Level Two Aqua Monsters to create, which Frog decks can easily do.

Toadally Awesome, unlike other negates, snatches the negated card, letting the player use it for themselves. This may radically turn the battle in favour of the player using the card, especially if the player negates a powerful card that he/she wouldn’t otherwise have.

4. Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus

The Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus is a powerful Xyz Boss Monster and is the main reason that Kaijus became popularised in competitive play. If a player has this card in their deck, then they will be in possession of a monster that’s nearly impossible to defeat outside of combat.

This Monster can prevent any kind of card effect from affecting it and can shut down the opponent from adding cards from the deck to their hand. The only reason it does not rank higher on the list is because of how hard it is to obtain.

3. Abyss Dweller

Abyss Dweller offers other Water Monsters a boost, but the true benefit of this monster is its ability to remove material. When a player does this, every effect that triggers in the opponent’s Graveyard is totally disabled.

As most modern decks need their Graveyard to function, completely turning off this aspect of the game for a turn could be enough to win a game.

2. Cyber Dragon Infinity

By detaching a card from it, Cyber Dragon Infinity may negate and destroy any card effect. It may also take an opponent’s Attack Position Monsters to increase its detachment possibilities. It also benefits from the Attack boost provided by cards linked to it, making it one of the most powerful Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters of all time.

1. Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS

Divine Arsenal has the ability to be summoned with an Xyz Monster that attacked that turn. It’s a terrific field wipe that the player may use at any moment by removing two materials from Arsenal’s card.

The Divine Arsenal is fantastic since it can eliminate both Monsters and the back row if they cause any problems for the player. Given its huge Attack and Defense, Divine Arsenal is also incredibly hard to take down, making it the best Xyz Monster in Yu-Gi-Oh!
