World of Warcraft will be getting exciting new additions

World of Warcraft’s next expansions will be bringing dragons, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, and will be adding a new set of zones to explore.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic

The Wrath of the Lich King expansion will add a new Death Knight class, which can be created with no prerequisites and can be started at level 55. A level 70 boost will be available for players who want to jump straight into Lich King without playing the Burning Crusade Classic expansion first.

The expansion will be bringing the following additions to the game:

  1. The grim frozen north – Heroes will begin their journey in one of two zones in Northrend—Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord—and adventure through some of the most epic vistas and beloved storylines in all of Warcraft.
  2. The Rise of Death Knights – This will re-introduce the Death Knights—World of Warcraft’s first hero class—to harness the powers of darkness to help combat the evil that threatens Azeroth.
  3. New Profession and Inscription: This new profession will allow players to scribe mystical glyphs that modify the properties of spells and abilities, and craft powerful trinkets and off-hand items.
  4. Dungeons & Raids – This allows players to relive 5-player dungeons like Azjol-Nerub and the Culling of Stratholme, and lay siege to Naxxramas as a 25- or 10-player raid.

Dragonflight

Dragonflight will be set on the Dragon Isles, a location that has been a myth for most of the game’s history. Dragonflight will build on the partnership between the Horde and Alliance, with a focus on both sides working together to explore the Dragon Isles, but the game will still include PvP.

Dragonflight will break away from a lot of the same faces and storylines that have taken place in previous editions of the game to look back at some of the series’ earliest lore and storylines.

Dragonflight introduces The Dracthyr, which will be the new playable race, and will come with a new Evoker class. They can cast magical ranged spells to heal allies and damage foes and are the only race that can be created as the new Evoker class.

In this exciting new expansion, you can even be a dragon, and you can also ride dragons. The way it works is that early in the expansion, you’ll have the ability to train a dragon as a mount to fly through the leveling process and beyond.
