‘Apex Legends’ season 16 gets official release date

The 16th season of Apex Legends, titled Revelry, is set to arrive on February 14, 2023. The new season will bring some huge changes to the popular live-service shooter.

Respawn Entertainment unveiled the details of Apex Legends season 16, along with a launch trailer.

The biggest change the season brings is the reworking of the Legends. Each of the Legends will be sorted into classes with special perks. The classes are Assault, Skirmisher, Recon, Controller, and Support.

Respawn has stated that these reworks won’t throw off the balance of the game and instead are meant to bring in new strategies and tactics into the gameplay.

Another big change is the sunsetting of the Arenas mode, but in its stead, Team Deathmatch is being added where two teams of up to 6 players can face off each other.

Unlike before however, this season doesn’t add a new hero, but it does add a new weapon called the Nemesis energy rifle, with which you can light up your foes.

While Respawn has not mentioned what time Apex legends season 16 will drop exactly, it is probably going to be 6 p.m. GMT as before.
