Hogwarts legacy, the action RPG based on the wildly successful Harry Potter novels has been released and players are raving about it online. Avalanche Software also revealed that it’s the most watched game on Twitch and has been for a few days with 1.28 million peak concurrent viewers at launch.
Furthermore, according to SteamDB, Hogwarts Legacy had a peak player count of 489,139 some hours before its full release on February 10, 2023.
The game’s story is set in the 1800s and takes place before the events of the novels. You play as a student in the titular ‘Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry’, where you will learn spells, use magical objects, explore the school and the open world, and of course, have epic magical battles.

Amid all this, there is a dangerous plot involving a goblin rebellion and traces of ancient magic.
Though the game has its controversies, mainly because of its link to the original creator, J.K Rowling, it has still been received well by gamers, which elucidates the statistics released by SteamDB.
A special edition DualSense controller of the game has also been announced for the PS5 till stocks last.
