Diablo 4 open beta: Access details and PC system requirements 

Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 4 is gearing up to be a smash hit this year and fans are eagerly waiting for its release. With the closed beta already out, those who could not gain access have become that much more excited about the open beta. So, without further ado here is everything regarding Diablo 4‘s open beta that you need to know. 

Note: This article is regarding the open beta and not the closed/early access beta which – depending on when this is uploaded – might be ongoing or might have already ended. Regardless, the closed beta is exclusive to those who have pre-ordered Diablo 4

When is Diablo 4’s open beta coming?

If seeing other players gain access to Diablo 4‘s closed beta has made you impatient, but you do not wish to pre-order the game, fret not as the open beta will be available soon! 

The open beta for Diablo 4 is beginning on March 24 and will last till March 27. Players will get a total of 69 hours of playtime before the beta ends, which is precisely as long as the closed beta. 

Start and end for different time zones

  • UK: Friday, March 24, 4 pm GMT till Monday, March 27, 7 pm GMT
  • Europe: Friday, March 24, 5 pm CET till Monday, March 27, 8 pm CET
  • East Coast US: Friday, March 24, 12 pm EDT till Monday, March 27, 3 pm EDT
  • Central US: Friday, March 24, 11 am CDT till Monday, March 27, 2 pm CDT
  • West Coast US: Friday, March 24, 9 am PDT till Monday, March 27, 12 pm PDT

How to early download the open beta? 

Early download for the beta will be available as well, so you can straight away enter the world of Sanctuary without wasting any of those precious hours. The option to early download will be available to everyone on March 22 at 9 AM PDT. 

To do so you will have to:

On PC

  • Launch the Battle.net client. 
  • Click on the All games page and click on Diablo 4 (It will be at the top of the list)
  • Once on the Diablo 4 game page, click on the drop-down bar under the game version and select the Diablo 4 beta option
  • Click on the button that says Install

On PlayStation

Go to the PlayStation store, press X on the search bar, and type ‘Diablo 4 Open Beta‘. Once on the store page, you should be able to download it. 

On Xbox

Similar to PlayStation, you will have to search for ‘Diablo 4 Open Beta‘ and select download when the game’s page loads.
