No DLCs planned for ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ according to director

Avalanche Software’s Hogwarts Legacy has received global acclaim since launch with the game becoming the most watched on Twitch on release with 1.28 million peak concurrent viewers.

The game also had half a million players before its full release. Despite its vast open world and interactive environment, players have been keenly awaiting DLC news, especially something related to Quidditch.

However, at the IGN Fan Fest 2023, Alan Tew, the director of Hogwarts Legacy stated that the team was so busy with making the base game that they had no plans for expansions or other DLCs.

He said: “We’ve been really heads down bringing [Hogwarts Legacy] to life, so at the moment there are no current plans for DLC.” That’s not to say that the possibility of a DLC is entirely off the table, but it is doubtful we will hear anything regarding the same any time soon.
