The famous zombie TV show, The Walking Dead ended with season 11, but the franchise is far from done. Along with the three spin-off shows, The Walking Dead is also being made into a tabletop RPG.
The Walking Dead Universe RPG is being made by the award-winning Free League Publishing, known for their adaptations of Blade Runner and Alien. A Kickstarter for the game will launch on March 14, 2023. The game itself will release sometime during the autumn of this year, but the core rulebook will be available in PDF format beforehand.

The game is being co-produced with AMC Networks. Furthermore, Chief Content Officer of The Walking Dead Universe, Scott M Gimple, and Head of AMC Networks Publishing Mike Zagari, are said to be closely involved.
In the game, players must brave the harsh, post-apocalyptic terrain while discovering how to endure and prosper. Every team will have to ability to customize their RPG adventure to match their preferences and approach to gameplay.
